Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz split

Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz have broken up.

The "Desperate Housewives" star and younger brother of Penelope Cruz have split, according to Web site Celebuzz, even though Longoria just said in April, "I'm in love," while promoting her new NBC show "Ready for Love."

She was also seen kissing Cruz last week.

But, a source told the site that the pair are over after more than a year together, and that they remain friends.

Longoria and the younger Cruz began their relationship last February, soon after the actress broke up with her NBA star hubby Tony Parker.
