However, her bronzed skin and brunette locks softened the effect somewhat.

Allen's latest leading lady certainly stole the show as she posed on the red carpet for the upcoming romantic comedy.

While the cut of Cruz's Michael Kors number was demure thanks to its straight neckline and long sleeves, the intricate lace detailing still showed off plenty of skin.

The 38-year-old teamed the design with a pair of matching satin peep-toe heels and a simple clutch bag.

Wearing her brunette mane in tumbling curls, flashes of the star's diamond drop earrings sparkled through her locks.

Cruz completed the look with smoky eye make-up but opted for a natural shade of lipstick.

The Hollywood actress seems to be a loyal fan of the luxe Michael Kors brand.
