Woody Allen in the dark about Penelope Cruz's foreign language scenes

Director Woody Allen still has no clue what Latin stars Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are saying in his 2008 movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona because he doesn't speak a word of Spanish. The filmmaker allowed the actors to improvise with the script for the romantic comedy/drama and converse in their native language, but he didn't bother to find out exactly what they were talking about on screen - and remains completely clueless to this day. Cruz tells W magazine, "He gave us the script he wrote in English, and he gave us the freedom to translate and improvise. Woody told me recently that he still doesn't know if we are talking about the atomic bomb." The performance won the Spanish beauty the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, so Allen decided to put his faith in her again while shooting his latest movie To Rome with Love. She says, "It's the same thing in To Rome With Love - he doesn't speak Italian. I translated my lines. So he still doesn

Penelope Cruz Promotes Super Mario Brothers 2; SocialAdr Review Released Shows How the Service Promotes Your Website

A recent advertisement featuring Penelope Cruz dressed up as famous character, Mario , inspired RCBryan & Associates to release a SocialAdr review. This stunt may work to promote a video game, but to use social signals to promote your website, it takes SocialAdr. ( PRWEB ) August 20, 2012 Although using a celebrity in a comedic stunt is a great advertisement strategy for Nintendo , online businesses need to build links and use social signals through SocialAdr to have their products get noticed. The most recent Nintendo advertisement for Super Mario Bros. 2 features actress Penelope Cruz dressed as the famous plumber from the game. This interesting strategy is part of a video, which features Cruz and her sister playing the game, and whoever loses must go out in public dressed like Mario. Although the quality of the video has come into question by a SlashGear writer in a post yesterday, the feat will undeniably draw more attention to the Nintendo game through the attention-grab

The award winning actress is one of the most beautiful actresses in the world, but clearly she's got a sense of humour and isn't afraid to look a bit daft! Maybe she's taking some tips from Charlize Theron, who uglied herself up for her Oscar winning-role in Monster? In the hilarious clip, which promotes Nintendo's 3DS handheld console, Penelope is beaten in a game of Super Mario Bros. 2 by her equally stunning sister Monica, and is forced by a bet to go to the grocery store to order a mushroom while dressed up as the legendary Italian plumber. She may have won awards at the Oscars and at Cannes for her roles in films such as Volver and Vicky Christina Barcelona, but we think she deserves and award for this too! Penelope Cruz Looks Like An 80s Supermodel On The Cover Of W Magazine

Image
August 14th, 2012 | 5:08 am by Ambika Muttoo Thank you, W Magazine, for reminding us how awesome the 80s were. That decade always gets such a bad rap for its big hair, fingerless gloves and shoulderpads, but people forget that it gave us some pretty amazing fashion moments too. Penelope Cruz on the cover of the September issue of the magazine is a nod to everything that was right about that decade. Were loving the chunky jewelry, the natural eyebrows and the massive, sideswept hair. Were also grateful that they didnt go too 80s with the makeup. The matte look is what pulls this whole cover together. The accompanying black-and-white shoot comprises some of the most stunning images weve seen of her yet and are are in a completely different stylistic direction than her cover. Look at the photograph on the right? Minimal, arty but completely captivating, right? Each of the pictures is like that, and Cruz really needs to send the photographer a bottle of wine or something, because he j
