Penelope Cruz does not yet know if she will be reprising her role as Angelica in the next 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie. The 38-year-old actress played the role of Angelica Teach in the last instalment of the franchise 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' - alongside Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow - and while it is expected she may reprise her part, no one has confirmed anything to her. The Volver star purchased the rights to the novel after falling in love with the story of a Spanish flamenco dancer who marries former ruling Maharaja, Jagatjit Singh, and becomes a princess at 18. Cruz is a huge fan of Hindi films and wants to shoot the future project in India where the novel, by Spanish author Javier Moro, is set. She tells The Times of India, "India is a culturally strong country and very traditional. Bollywood is now making its mark and people in Hollywood want to work with the Indian stars and in Bollywood too. I am a great fan of Indian cinema and I would love to work with Shah Rukh Khan. Tuesday Sep 25 2012 Penelope Cruz has hinted that she might be set to make a Bollywood film in the future. The To Rome With Love actress - who is married to fellow Spanish star Javier Bardem - told The Times Of India that she admires Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, and went on to add that she is planning to make a film in India. She said: "I am a great fan of Indian cinema and I would love to work with Shah Rukh Khan. I have the movie rights to a book and we are going to shoot the movie in India." It's thought Penelope owns the rights to a book about a Spanish flamenco dancer who married Maharaja Jagatjit Singh of Punjab and became a princess at 18. According to the website Bollywoodlife.com, there are rumours that Shah Rukh may play the Maharaja, sparking speculation that Penelope could play the dancer.
