Penelope Cruz to front Loewe campaign

London, Nov 13 (IANS) Actress Penelope Cruz has signed up to be the face of Spanish leather goods company Loewe.

The 38-year-old, who is married to "Skyfall" actor Javier Bardem, has signed a three-year deal with the leather goods brand, and will be seen in the first collection in spring 2013.

Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot will shoot the campaign, and creative director Stuart Vevers has revealed that Cruz was the perfect fit for the brand, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"Penelope(Cruz) is Spain's most famous woman. For us to collaborate feels right and natural," he said.

Cruz has joined the long list of Gisele Bundchen, Kate Moss and Stephanie Seymour who endorsed the brand earlier.
