Penlope Cruz turned heads in a stunning blue gown in Italy on Monday.

The Spanish actress showed off her curves to full effect in a shimmering Versace dress at the premiere of her new film, Twice Born.

The 38-year-old walked the red carpet at The Space Cinema Moderno in Rome to promote the movie, which also stars Emile Hirsch.

The beautiful actress swept her brunette locks back into an elegant bun, keeping the focus on her gorgeous outfit choice.

The classic frock was given an edge thanks to unusual details, such as a sleeve on just one shoulder and a fishtail finish.

Penlope teamed the dress with Jimmy Choo heels and gorgeous Chopard jewels.

The actress kept things simple in the beauty stakes and opted for her signature look of dark eyes and full, sensuous lips.

Earlier in the day, the star had attended a photocall with director Sergio Castellitto and opted for a more casual look.

Penlope wore a long leather jacket with bare legs and let her long hair tumble over her shoulders in soft waves.

The actress husband Javier Bardem didnt join her at the event.

Javier has recently been busy promoting the box office smash Skyfall, in which he plays Bond villain Silva.
